#TravelPal: A Journey to UMS Outdoor development centre

That title was some kind adventurous. Honestly it is adventurous because we don’t have a car hehehe but thankfully there was a car that willing to give us a ride on our way there but on our way back, we walk. But after all those hardship, still it was the sweetest moment ever.

UMS outdoor development centre or ODEC is located inside UMS of course but it is hard to get there especially during weekend because only a few bus is going to send people there. So if you’re a new comer I advise you to bring your own car and I mean seriously just rent a car or bring a friend who has a car cause it’s going to be a long walk. Before you reach ODEC you can also visit UMS Aquarium because it is located near ODEC.

We went to ODEC around 1 p.m in the afternoon and that was the biggest mistake me and my friend did because it was so hot and the sun was like burning our skin. The best time to go to beach is sunrise and sunset. DON’T go in the afternoon! People are going to look at you like “You’re weird!” and yes we’re weird that day! Haha.. When we first arrive that day, me and friend are mesmerised by the beauty of the beach. The sky and the water is clear blue, the sand is white and it was so beautiful, it was like heaven on earth. Also, bring sun glasses because it was so clear that it hurt your eyes. Seriously. Then we quickly find a place to sit because it was so hot. Unfortunately, there aren’t any place to sit. I mean not enough facility.

Lots of boat for outdoor activities

Yes ODEC has lack of facility; the only thing they provide is a public toilet. No “pondok rehat” (sorry I don’t know what to call that on English), no restaurant, just a public toilet, so do bring your own food! Luckily that day, me and my friend brought our own food and we just sit under the tree, talking, eating and enjoy the scenery which makes my heart feel so warm and relaxed. However, ODEC do provide outdoor activities such as Paintball and water sport activities. Suddenly, while busy chit chatting we saw a big big black things on the sea. We took a picture and until now we still don’t know what it is. So scary!!
What is this thing????

In the evening lots of people started to come to see the sunset and swim. We then take the opportunity to swim and walk in the sea, taste the salty water and run in the water hahaha. Near ODEC there is also a Jetty! Around 5 p.m we walk back to our dorm. And we have to walk of course, which is very very very tiring.
We took lots of good picture. Yes I’ve recently been into photography too, so using my friend’s camera I took some photography.
